The slogan that has been on badges and placards since the 1970s, on a bright gym sock. One size fits most. 65% cotton with nylon and spandex. Made in the USA by Gumball Poodle.
Three words that have been on badges, banners and placards since the 1970s, now on a sock.
The slogan was coined in the 1970s by the women running Labyris Books, New York’s first women’s bookshop. It became famous through a 1975 photograph by Liza Cowan of her partner, the lesbian folk musician Alix Dobkin, wearing the shirt. It was rediscovered on the internet forty years later and has been marching ever since.
Good for standing up to things, kicking through things, and marching forward to the future, which is, by the way, female.
Made in the USA by Gumball Poodle. A gym sock, one size fits most, 65% cotton with nylon and spandex.
