The Aroace pride flag is 90cm by 150cm wide, the perfect size to wear as a cape.
Aroace means aromantic and asexual: feeling little or no romantic attraction and little or no sexual attraction. Plenty of aroace people fly the aromantic flag and the asexual flag side by side, and this flag brings the two together in one design.
The five stripes are orange, yellow, white, light blue and dark blue. Orange stands for community, yellow for love and relationships outside the usual romantic and sexual kinds, white for wholeness, and the two blues for the whole spectrum of aroace identities and experiences. The colours were chosen because blue sits between aromantic green and asexual purple on the colour wheel, and orange sits between them on the other side. The design was created by Tumblr user aroaesflags in 2018.
