Aromantic means feeling little or no romantic attraction, whatever your gender and whoever you are with. It is not the same thing as asexual, although the two often go together. The Aromantic Pride Flag was created in 2014 by Cameron Whimsy. Its five stripes are dark green, light green, white, grey and black. The two shades of green represent the aromantic spectrum, and green was chosen because it is the opposite of red, the colour most associated with romantic love. White represents platonic love and friendship, and the grey and black stripes represent the sexuality spectrum, because aromantic people can be asexual, or not, or anywhere in between.
