Intersex Pride Flag
The intersex flag, a purple circle on yellow. At 90cm x 150cm it is big enough to cover a bedroom wall, fill a window or fly from a balcony, and it makes a great cape for a parade or Pride. 😉
The intersex flag was created in July 2013 by Morgan Carpenter of Intersex Human Rights Australia, to be a flag “that is not derivative, but is yet firmly grounded in meaning”. Yellow and purple were chosen because they are free from gender associations, and the unbroken circle symbolises wholeness.
An intersex person has sex characteristics, such as anatomy, reproductive organs or chromosome patterns, that do not fit the typical definition of male or female. Intersex people may identify with any sexual orientation or gender identity.

A quality stitched flag with side grommets (that’s the term apparently!), so you can tie it to a flagpole or hang it with rope. Made from water-resistant polyester.
For every day, there is our Intersex Flag Pin, and the Intersex Inclusive Progress Pride Flag brings the intersex flag into the Progress design.
