Progress Pride Flag
Our best-selling flag, and the one you will see at just about every Pride event now. The 90cm x 150cm size is big enough to cover a bedroom wall, fill a window or fly from a balcony, and it makes a great cape for a parade or Pride. 😉 The 150cm x 240cm size is the one for a proper flagpole, where it really stands out.
This flag was created in June 2018 by designer Daniel Quasar. It incorporates elements from both the Philadelphia flag and the Trans Pride flag to bring focus on inclusion and progress within the community. The design went viral on social media, prompting worldwide coverage in news outlets.
While keeping the six-stripe rainbow as its base, the “Progress” version adds a chevron along the hoist in black, brown, light blue, pink and white, bringing marginalised people of colour, trans people, and those living with HIV/AIDS and those who have been lost to the forefront. The arrow points right to show forward movement, while sitting on the left edge shows that progress still needs to be made.
A quality stitched flag with side grommets (that’s the term apparently!), so you can tie it to a flagpole or hang it with rope. Made from water-resistant polyester.
