5 Stripe Lesbian Sunset Pride Flag
The sunset flag, and the version of the lesbian flag you will see most often today. At 90cm x 150cm it is big enough to cover a bedroom wall, fill a window or fly from a balcony, and it makes a great cape for a parade or Pride. 😉
The orange-pink “sunset” lesbian flag was attributed to Tumblr blogger Emily Gwen in 2018, and was popularised by a Tumblr poll seeking an official flag for the lesbian community. This five-stripe version was derived from it soon after, keeping five of the original seven colours: gender non-conformity, community, unique relationships to womanhood, serenity and peace, and femininity.
